Due to a general lack of skills and equipment unique to the class, beginners are the weakest of the classes and most players will take the first job advancement at their first opportunity. In spite of this, some players remain beginners and continue training without taking a job advancement. These characters are called permanenet beginners.. While most permanent beginners proceed to Victoria Island and other areas of the game for quests and monsters suited to higher level characters, a subset of beginners called islanders decide to remain onMaple island and train exclusively on lower level monsters such as slimes and pigs.
All explorers start as beginners. Beginners are usually melee attackers due to their inability to use ranged weapons and the relative unavailability of attack skills. The Three Snails skill is the beginner’s only ranged attack skill, but has relatively low damage. Beginners have no other attack skills and rely on normal attacks to deal damage. Beginners typically train in preparation for the first job advancement, where they may become a warrior, magician, thief, bowman,or pirate.Beginners are generally called “Noobs” as most Beginners that come into Maplestory don’t know anything about it, and ask people for stuff like money, equipment, and info. Though most of the time they’re ignored, or asked to get away.
Though there are Perma-Beginners, which have ALOT of respect, as they are Beginners who trained with horrible weapons, a horrible damage range, and really waste alot of time to get to a certain goal.
Also, Perma-Beginners are given access to wield the Maroon Mop at level 36. The Maroon Mop is currently the strongest weapon there is, possessing an average of 220 weapon attack.

MapleStory players hungry for glory will embark on a new quest line in the upcoming addition of Dragon Master Evan to Nexon’s hit MMO. The quest line focuses on the character, Evan, and his or her dragon companion. The quests in the Dragon Master Evan storyline take players on a journey of growth and glory as the inseparable pair work together to learn more about being a duo and battle unrelenting monsters. After Evan’s dragon companion hatches, a player’s first quest will teach them what dragons eat. As the character levels up and the dragon companion grows and learns more skills, the duo start to battle fiendishly cute and evil monsters while helping people in need. The quest line continues to reveal more about the Evan character and the dragon companion as it takes on physical changes with each leveling milestone. Together, the two will take on new quests and move closer and closer to being the heroic duo they are destined to be.
Here is some information about party quest in MapleStory which one I got it from other site. Here it goes!
Generally speaking Party Quest, someone call it PQ, is a quest that many people flock to in order to get mass-experience gain. It is a very good way to get rare items and upgrade scrolls, as well as healing items that would otherwise cost you a couple thousand mesos. The prizes are also quite valuable, so you can sell them if you don’t need them.
The quest started in Victoria Island at Kerning City, near the left-bottom corner. You will notice that a good many people are there in many channels. Finding a deserted channel is near-impossible, unless you log in at 2 or 3am. Only one party can go in at once. By ‘party’, I mean group of 4 people who are between the levels 21 and 30. Because of this, many people are waiting at the sewers, just level the normal way. You will lag, and no-one likes lagging if you do not have a fast computer.
for the lv 70 pig, you just have to talk to kenta to start the quest.
The first part is to protect the pig from aliens while at the same time collecting pheromones (dropped by pig) and scrolls (break boxes). There’s no limit on how many times you can try.
Kenta gives you the saddle and skill Monster Riding as a reward.
Second part is where you pay Chief Tatamoto in Leafre, pay him 20m and he’ll give you dragon’s perfume bottle. go back to kenta and he’ll fill the bottle with the pheromone perfume
Run to korean folk town- tiger ridge and go to the secret area Wild Hog Area.
when you see a hog spawn, double click the perfume bottle near it and “capture” it. [hard to miss]
if you missed, re-pay 20m to chief tatamo and try again
Explorer Nation
Explorers of all classes will soon be able to experience a new type of game with Nexon America’s Return of the Explorer rebalancing update for its hit MMORPG, MapleStory. The four original Explorers – Mage, Thief, Bowman, and Warrior, along with the later added Pirate class – will all be rebalanced and renewed in the scheduled June update.
Each class advances through four jobs and each is enhanced and improved with the Return of the Explorer update. Mages, who use staffs and wands as their main weapons, gain an increase in attack skills and damage. As masters of moving quickly, Thieves earn an increase in attack and a decrease in cool down time. Bowmen become more powerful and see an increase in damage power. Warriors also gain an increase in damage power, as well as a few other changes which allow them to improve their elemental attacks. Lastly, Pirates undergo several changes, including the ability to use their guns at close range.
The Return of the Explorer update implements new changes to each of the five explorer classes to enhance the player’s experience. To learn more about the upcoming improvements, visit: www.mapstory.nexon.net
For the players in v online, they will feel boring to spend time farming. They think it is not a fun to farm for hours at a time. Under this circumstance, it is really difficult for them to afford all the items they want, because they do not have enough Maplestory Mesos. In this way, if they want enough Maple story Mesos, they need to buy Maplestory Mesos. Fortunately, there are many ways for you to buy them, and many professional maplestory mesos websites will give you more suggestions, for example the website of http://www.ogpal.com. Following I want to give you a guide to help determine which is the best place to buy Mesos.
Firstly, the reputation of the site is the most important factors you should consider. A good site with good reputation will service the customs well, and satisfy the needs of the customs. But how do we know the reputation of the site is good or bad? We can see whether the site is advertised on other popular mesos site. That is because every site will only advertise the sites with good reputation. Otherwise, it will be harmful to their own reputation.
Secondly, the price is another important factor. Usually, the price of the mesos is similar, and what you want is buy the items with the least money. Also, some websites will make some bargains and it is a good opportunity for you to buy Maplestory Mesos.
Also, you should pay attention to your privacy in the websites.
These are some suggestions for you to buy Mesos, if you want more details, you can click the above website.
Always Have Room In Inventory, Pick Everything Up! You just killed a monster and he drops a small red potion? Do you pick it up or just say “forget it” and walk away? If you don’t pick it up then that’s a loss for you, when you think about it, if you eventually got to level 30 it probably means you killed thousands of monsters, tens of THOUSANDS perhaps! Now imagine EVERY single item you left behind, that you thought wasn’t worth picking up, it’s so sad when people just leave drops lying around and not pick them up. If you pick up as many items as you can, no matter how crappy or unowrthy they are, I promise you’ll be making MILLIONS of mesos from selling them later on. Every time you do a quest, make sure you empty out your inventory before heading out. That way when you’re killing monsters you can pick up and collect as many items in your inventory as possible. If you don’t make thousands of mesos each trip you make you can come back and blame me for a terrible tip, but honestly you’ll thank me for doing so! The Market Is A Gold Mine! If you want to buy an item that you need, or you found something that you think could be worth a lot, don’t just buy it or sell it to someone right away if you think you’re getting a good price. When you do that without checking the market prices you are bound to lose money by either buying something that is overpriced or selling your items way under value. Always check the market, see offers and prices for that item in different places and make sure you’re getting the most mesos out of the deal as possible, by either saving mesos when you buy and making mesos when you sell.
How to Create the Perfect Fire Mage in Maplestory If you decide to become a fire mage at level 30 you should follow some basic instructions to make your mage as strong as possible. There are many skill points to distribute, and to know where to put each point is very important. Fire mages have the strongest spells of all the magicians in Maple Story, and the graphics are simply awesome. They have several places where they can train, but fire mages also have to have patience for effective leveling. If you have not yet made up your mind on which second job to choose, I suggest you read my other guide on the subject. Now onto the skill build for strict Fire Mages. When you choose your job you’ll be given one skill point. I highly suggest you put this point in teleport, as this makes leveling much more fun. Then work hard on maxing Fire Arrow, since this will be your basic attack. After Fire Arrow you should put three points into MP Eater, so you get back some MP from your spells. Only put three points in it for now though, and focus on Meditation which should be maxed. Next upyou should max MP Eater, and after MP Eater go with Teleport. When Teleport is maxed you’ll be able to teleport to and from high platforms with little MP cost, and your leveling will become far more effective. This skill must be maxed! Slow should be the last skill you max, and then put the last few points into Poison Brace. Maxing Poison Brace is in my opinion useless as you can get Poison Mist in the third job. Slow is far better than Poison Brace, and in my level 95 fire mage I still regret maxing Poison Brace. You should train where you can kill the monsters in two or three hits. When you find an empty channel, stay in that map for as long as you can. Moving around from map to map is good for when you are bored or having fun with friends, but for good leveling you should practice on effective leveling. To level your fire mage up to the third job will take countless hours, as in most MMORPG. A good idea is therefore to use a stop watch or a timer, and set it for half an hour. Watch how much experience you gain, and compare it to other maps. MMORPGs are fun and exciting, but require a lot of effort to be successful
